BRP announces officer departure

VALCOURT, QC, Jan. 7, 2015 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) --BRP Inc. (TSX: DOO) today announced the departure of Gerd Ohrnberger, vice-president and general manager, Product Engineering and Manufacturing Operations division effective January 9, 2015.

"Gerd began his journey at BRP in the Engineering department of our Rotax business in Austria. His most recent expatriation assignment brought him to Canada where he structured a more effective engineering and manufacturing organization. We wish to thank Gerd for his contribution to the Company's development over the years and wish him great success in his future endeavors," said José Boisjoli, president and CEO.

A search for a replacement is currently in progress.
